Genesis Home is a homeless shelter in Durham, NC that is unique in taking care of entire families and trying very hard to keep those families together. They’re currently raising money for the Great Human Race, which is a 5k whose benefits will send the kids in Genesis Home to summer camp so they can have valuable life experiences and so their parents can continue to look for and maintain jobs without worrying about their children’s welfare.
Even if you could donate just a dollar, it would mean a lot to me and, more importantly, to those kids. Which kids? THESE kids.
